After being graduated from Case
Western Reserve University School of Law, Khary joined
the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office and worked in
the general felony unit until September of 2004. He then
became an assistant county prosecutor in the Lucas
County Prosecutor’s office where he handled felonies,
capital murder cases, and also appeared in the Court of
Appeals. In August of 2007, he joined Kerger &
Associates and has handled civil and criminal litigation
in both state and federal courts.
While at Case Western, he was a Merit Scholarship
recipient and participated in the Dunmore Moot Court
competition. He was graduated from Eastern Michigan
University where he was on the Dean’s List and served as
a member of the Black Student Union. His works were
selected for presentation at a 1998 Eastern Michigan
University undergraduate synopsis.
Khary is admitted to practice in the States of Ohio,
Illinois and Michigan. He is a member of the Ohio and
Illinois Bar Associations, as well as the Toledo and
Chicago Bar Associations. He is a member of the Prince
Hall Masons and the Moses Fleetwood Walker Society.
